Update can be easily installed using WebAsyst Installer — new update technology that we use in our new WebAsyst Shop-Script beta (WebAsyst Installer is a dedicated administrative part of WebAsyst used for configuring your installation and installing software updates).
To install this update, login to your WebAsyst Installer and follow “Update is available” link.
Entire update is performed using only your web browser.
During software update procedure you can see the list of changes in this update.

Automated software update will not work if your server does not allow changing maximum allowed scripts execution time which is 30 seconds by default — this time will not be enough to download the latest update (nearly 8 MB) and install it.

WebAsyst Shopping Cart is a web-service for creating online stores that we created on the basis of Shop-Script PREMIUM shopping cart software. Today WebAsyst Shopping Cart offers more features than Shop-Script. Everyone can subscribe for WebAsyst for free and get dedicated online storefront instantly. When new version of Shop-Script will be released?

We have been working on Shop-Script to make WebAsyst Shopping Cart service for over an year now. During this time we significantly improved Shop-Script and made major changes in Shop-Script kernel. We plan to introduce new version of Shop-Script on February 2008. New version’s features will be identical to WebAsyst Shopping Cart’s.

We will offer free upgrades to new version of Shop-Script to all existing Shop-Script clients (both PRO and PREMIUM versions).

• Store Business License. The regulations for a store license vary with the country and the state. They also depend on the type of products you are selling (pharmaceutical products, alcoholic beverages, firearms, etc.). In most cases, receiving a license is a relatively easy process, though could differ from case to case. Business license will also qualify you for a business (rather than personal) bank account.
